Ontario Youth Reconciliation Initiative – Apply Today!

We are recruiting!

We are excited to launch our 2016-2017 Ontario Youth Reconciliation Initiative (YRI) program ! Currently we are looking to create teams in the communities of Hamilton, Thunder Bay, Six Nations, Sudbury, and Manitoulin. If you are a youth from those communities apply now! Canadian Roots Exchange believes that youth play a lead role in redefining and strengthening existing relationships between all peoples in Canada.We are inviting passionate and motivated youth between 18 and 29 years of age who would like to strengthen bridges between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities and who can serve as positive role models to youth to apply to this initiative. YRI teams will organize educational activities and workshops in Ontario and have the opportunity to meet other active youth leaders from across the country.

We are looking to form teams of 4 Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth in the following communities:

  • Hamilton
  • Thunder Bay
  • Manitoulin
  • Six Nations
  • Sudbury
