Wall to Action Collective

CRE is excited to be organizing the public launch of the Wall to Action Collective , a mural arts and spoken word project for Indigenous and racialized youth in Toronto, ON! For the past two months, the Wall to Action Collective have been hard at work painting a mural, publishing a zine, and learning spoken word with youth mentors, youth facilitators, and Elders from Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. Together, the Wall to Action Collective have been reflecting on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's 94 Calls to Action, and we're now thrilled to welcome folks to our public launch!

When: Thursday August 24th, 2017
Time: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Where: Native Canadian Centre of Toronto (16 Spadina Rd, Toronto, ON)

A big thank you to our mural artist mentors, creative writing mentor, and youth facilitators for their phenomenal work! Thank you to our Elders for their guidance and support, and to the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto for hosting both our mural and our public launch! Lastly, thank you to our funders: Artreach, StART, and the Toronto Arts Council.
