CTA 66 Engagement Survey 2023

  • Welcome, and thank you for taking our survey!

Since 2019, CRE has been leading a pilot project funded by the Government of Canada to inform the full implementation of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action 66. The pilot set out the goal to ensure the voices of Indigenous youth are heard, and to support Indigenous youth reconciliation initiatives.

As we are entering the final year of the pilot project, CRE is excited to begin the final phase of engagements with First Nations, Inuit and Métis youth to ensure their diverse voices are amplified and centered within the full implementation of Call to Action 66 recommendations, and ensure it respond to their communities’ needs.

We want to amplify and include your voices during the co-development of the policy options that will shape the full implementation of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action 66, and the information collected from this survey will be used during the CRE-Government of Canada’s Working Group meetings.

  • Everyone who completes the survey will receive $50!

  • CTA 66 Engagement Survey Questions

  • The Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action 66 calls upon the federal government “to establish multi-year funding for community-based youth organizations to deliver programs on reconciliation, and establish a national network to share information and best practices”.
  • With the full implementation of the CTA 66, we envision a future of empowered Indigenous youth leaders participating in policy discussions that impact them in a sustainable way.
  • Currently, the federal government has mandated their ministers to accelerate the implementation of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Actions.
  • CRE’s pilot project has offered innovative programs that created opportunities to strengthen and amplify Indigenous youth voices, as well as uplifting dynamic leaders.
  • The Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action 66 calls for the establishment of a national youth network to share best practices and opportunities. CRE had previously established The Network that was guided by an Engagement Framework to ensure the safety of youth being engaged on various topics. This network was hosted in a Slack channel.
