Boozhoo! My name is Joey Que, but my official name is Joanna Quequish. My pronouns are She/Her/They/Them.
I am from North Caribou Lake First Nation in the far north-western Ontario region, Treaty 9 territory.
Currently working full-time as a Case Manager for the Choose Life program which is a child and youth suicide prevention/intervention program. Also, I’m currently enrolled in CRE indigenous policy school 22/23 cohort.
During my spare time, I’m often planning out future events for my community, learn new languages, and travel around to attend workshops/conferences in different areas.
