Alorah Roussel

CREation Advisory Circle Member

Alorah is a Metis woman, born in Ontario but currently residing in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She holds her Bachelor’s Degree and is pursuing her Master’s. Alorah works in the Child Welfare sector as a Capacity Development Specialist, working in remote communities in Labrador as they build their own child welfare systems.  

Alorah is passionate about child welfare and decolonizing academia. Her hobbies include hiking, gardening, and crafting. She is particularly interested in projects around mental health, child welfare, and traditional parenting practices.
