Eagleclaw Bunnie Thom

Communications - Ottawa eagleclaw@canadianroots.ca

Tansi and howdy! My name is Eagleclaw Bunnie Thom (he/him) and I am Saulteaux from Treaty 4 territory. I currently reside on unceded, unsurrendered Algonquin territory in what is now called Ottawa. I’m not very fond of talking about myself, but I’m also a big fan of telling stories. I’ve been working in communications since I first graduated university. I once organized a powwow that had about 10,000 people in attendance in a week and I once hitchhiked a ride on a helicopter in the middle of the bush.I strongly believe we have a responsibility to the future generations of our people to try make this place better while we are here. I strive to do that everyday in the work I do with this organization and in my personal time.
