Patricia Martin is Anishinaabe born and raised in Toronto Ontario, with family roots in M’Chigeeng First Nation, Sagamok and Newfoundland. She is currently the Executive Administrative Coordinator. Patricia has previously worked with Aboriginal Legal Services and NCCT in different administrative capacities. She served as a Council member and Chairperson for the Native Youth Advisory Council at NCFST in 2020. Patricia has collaboratively done murals with the 7 Generation Image Makers program at NCFST – including “Turtle Island” as part of Doors Open Toronto 2017, and “The Space Within Us” mural in First Nations House, University of Toronto. She has done graphic facilitation projects for Emerging Leaders for Environmental Sustainability in Healthcare, U of T, as well as the Indigenous Environmental Justice Project with York University, and the Provincial Indigenous Youth & Family Advisory Committee (YWHO). In her free time, she hangs out with her grandma and walks her dog Wrinkles.
