Sareema Husain – Granting and Development Coordinator

Granting and Development Coordinator sareema@canadianroots.ca

Sareema Husain is a Pakistani Canadian currently living in Dish with One Spoon Territory (Toronto). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Politics and Communication from Concordia University. Prior to CRE, she worked with the Red Cross as an Emergency Care Worker and with the World Food Programme as a Junior Consultant. Outside of work, Sareema can be found writing, exploring forest trails or being a homebody with a good book and cup of tea in hand.

As a Granting and Development Coordinator, she looks forward to supporting Indigenous youth in navigating the processes of funding and actualizing their ideas.
